Waitahanui Apiaries was established in 2014. They are based on a Certified Organic native bush blocks surrounding Lake Taupo where they own, operate and care for 500 hives.
The honey they harvest is from a variety of local New Zealand natives botanicals such as Kamahi, Rewa Rewa, Kanuka & Manuka trees.
So as to retain its nutritional benefits the honey is always potted raw - from the hive to the jar - they do not pasteurise.
Their goal is to give us a quality product and to get New Zealand's Raw Honey back on the breakfast table.
Believe us, it tastes delicious and of course it's organic darling!!
