How to use your lid correctly

• Ensure the spout is open when screwing on the lid.
• Tighten the lid as much as possible, wait a few seconds and tighten again.
• Close the spout once the lid feels secure.

NOTE: When boiling water is added and the spout is closed, the air inside will heat, expand and build pressure - this can potentially cause a leak from the seal if your cup is not upright or if the liquid is very hot.
