Broccoli sprouts are known for their cancer-fighting and anti-inflammatory effects due to their high levels of sulforaphane. They also have many outer nutrients including vitamin A, C and fibre. Studies have also proven antioxidant benefits, heart health support and helps with blood sugar levels.

Add to salads, sandwiches, wraps, dips, smoothies or just as a snack. Enjoy Darlings.

To Grow:

1. Add heaped tablespoon of seeds to a 500ml sprouting jar, or 2 heaped tablespoons of seeds to a 1 litre sprouting jar. 1/2 fill the jar with water.
2. Soak seeds in water for 10 minutes, then drain through the mesh lid.
3. Rinse seeds in fresh water, then tip jar upside down so the water can continue to drain through the mesh lid.
4. Rinse the seeds and shake out excess water 2-3 times per day, keeping the jar upside down to drain.
5. Keep out of direct sunlight. Seeds are ready in 4-6 days when the jar is full of sprouts.
6. Rinse and dry the sprouts on paper towel before storing in the fridge with a dry cloth in a sealed container.
